The Julie Matte in Memoriam Fund

Honouring Julie Matte, members of the class of ‘87 established this fund, selecting the ECS Pet Therapy programme as a natural fit remembering Julie’s love of animals. We were blown away by the generous support of your class, and thrilled with the ways in which we were able to expand this programme as an innovative and important component of the ECS Health and Wellness initiative.

Pet Therapy brings animals into the school during exam time, giving students a space to relax and release energy and stress through play. The animals help to create a non-judgmental and loving environment, counteracting the pressure many students feel at this time of year.

Ms. Matte’s mother, Judy Thompson, has generously committed to funding Pet Therapy annually; and your continued investment will help support the growth and viability of this programme for many years to come.

Will you make your gift in Julie’s memory today?
